Stream series consists of Stream1 and Stream3 music streamers and servers

Premium music streaming starts here

The Stream series is the gateway to high-performance music streaming, with all the comprehensive features of the in-house Innuos Sense app matched with our high-quality components.

The modular design of the Stream series provides a versatile home for all your digital music that can grow and expand as your needs evolve.

Use simply as a music streamer or introduce music server functionality by adding your own internal SSD, USB drive or NAS drive.

The dedicated output module platform allows you to choose an optimized connection for the best performance that suits your system, whether USB, SPDIF, or an analogue output from a quality internal DAC.

Consisting of two models, STREAM1 and STREAM3, the series offers a rich suite of features to make them our most versatile streamer/servers yet.

  • Innuos Sense
A unifying music library capable of combining local music files with high-quality streaming services including Qobuz, TIDAL, Deezer, HighResAudio, IDAGIO, and also offering support for Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect. Fully manage your library, build playlists out of multiple sources, and enjoy quality Internet Radio and podcasts. A bespoke operating system designed for ultra-low latency, including Real-time Kernel technology trickled-down from ZEN Next-Gen.
  • Digital Output Module
Choose from a range of high-performance output modules to maximize the very best connection in your Hi-Fi system, including the reclocked PhoenixUSB board, SPDIF module, or from a range of integrated DACs.
  • Storage
An accessible SSD bay to add your own internal M2 storage for your library of music files. Play music from an existing music server or NAS drive or connect a USB drive to play music files from directly.
  • CD Ripping
Leverage our time-proven CD ripping engine to extract the most from your existing CD collection (USB optical drive required).
  • Powerful Music Server
With or without storage, STREAM1 and STREAM3 offer Logitech Media Server, UPnP server, and Roon Core functionality. Using a TLC SSD for the operating system including power-loss protection circuitry, 13th-gen Intel Quad-Core processing and 8GB of industrial-grade DDR5 RAM, the Stream series offer a dependable platform with rapid performance that is 200% faster than the Mk3 predecessors.
  • Multiroom
Play music through your entire home – place your Innuos streamer into Endpoint mode as a receiver to an existing standalone Innuos Music Server.
  • Remote Control
Use a universal IR remote control for playback controls and easily start playing your favourite music using Sense-configured presets that can be assigned to playlists, radio stations, and smart mixes.
  • Upgradeable
Configure your output module and storage options over time, add one of our dedicated Phoenix-series reclockers, or take the STREAM1 sound quality further through the matching LPS1 linear power supply upgrade.

Designed, engineered and hand-assembled in Europe, the Stream series provides a high-quality solution for your music streaming needs, whether upgrading from an existing streamer or making your first step towards discovering the potential of digital audio.

STREAMERS

Stream1 is a music streamer and server part of our new Stream Series

STREAM1

  • Convenient design: Small but mighty, the Stream1 makes no compromises on features despite its compact, half-width design
  • Quality sound: A dedicated CX regulator provides low-noise power to the dedicated output module, creating a purer signal for better sound quality
  • Upgradeable: Add the LPS1 for a significantly improved power source to further improve sound performance, housed in a perfectly matching chassis to continue the STREAM1 design
  • Output modules: Use the built-in USB audio outputs, or maximise performance with a dedicated output module, including PhoenixUSB Board, SPDIF Board, StandardDAC, or PerformanceDAC Board
Stream3 is a music streamer and server part of our new Stream Series

STREAM3

  • High-precision chassis: A substantial chassis of 10mm thick CNC-machined Aluminium provide shielding and vibration control in a high-quality enclosure
  • High-quality power: Featuring an ARC6-CX active-rectification LPSU and large bank of Mundorf capacitors, the STREAM3 benefits from high-end power architecture designed in collaboration with Dr. Sean Jacobs
  • Audiophile analogue: Choose the optional PhoenixDAC Board for a high-end, dual-mono internal DAC with RCA and XLR outputs, utilising OCXO and FEMTO clocks and powered by an independent analogue regulation stage
  • Output modules: Use the built-in USB audio outputs, or maximise performance with a dedicated output module, including PhoenixUSB Board, PhoenixI2S Board, SPDIF Board, or the PhoenixDAC Board

FAQS

1 . How does STREAM series differ from earlier Innuos products?

STREAM series carries on the successful legacy of ZEN Mk3 music servers and PULSE network players and combines them into a versatile, single product thanks to its flexible modular design. With the latest generation in design and premium components, our gateway product range sounds and performs better than ever.

2. Are these streamers, or servers?

Both – the modular nature of the internal storage, digital output modules or analog output modules allow many variations or combinations for the product to be a music server, a digital network player, or fully integrated streamer for direct connection to an amplifier. Tailor the system to what you want it to be

3. What is the difference between STREAM1 and STREAM3?

The STREAM3 builds on the STREAM1 with a similar feature set but benefits from a superior power supply for a significant step up in sound quality and is still an improvement over the LPS1 also. It has a more substantial chassis for shielding and vibration control, and due to its larger size can accommodate a wider range of output modules including the PhoenixI2S board and the PhoenixDAC

4. Can I still rip CDs?

Yes! Our powerful CD ripping engine is still available in Sense app, you simply need to add a USB optical drive of your choice and make sure there is internal storage fitted in your system. This will behave just as if it were an internal CD ripper from our earlier products with the same automated process, and choice of FLAC or WAV ripping.

5. Which output module is right for me?

The best output module is the one that makes the most sense for your current system, and our modular design means that you can change your optimal output type in the future if your HiFi setup changes. We offer internal DAC modules for direct connection to amplifiers or power speaker, and a variety digital output modules to cater for what is best suited to your DAC.

6. What are the upgrade paths for the STREAM series?

The STREAM1 can be improved with the dedicated LPS1, or moving up to the STREAM3 would be an even further step up in sound. From the STREAM3, the ZEN Next-Gen would be the next step up in the range. Both units can initially be used with the on-board USB audio output, then upgraded with a dedicated output module at a later date, and adding an audiophile-grade network switch such as the PhoenixNET will improve sound quality for all streamers.
