This article describes the steps necessary in order to enable the the Experimental Roon Core system mode.
This Experimental Mode may have occasional dropouts. It uses Roon’s own Squeezebox integration which supports audio only up to 24bit/192kHz PCM and DSD64 therefore it is limited by it and we cannot predict any future developments or further improvements.
To configure Roon Core Experimental Mode, follow the steps below:
1. Open the Sense app or visit my.Innuos.com and select your Innuos system.
2. From the Sense dashboard go to SYSTEM > SETTINGS > SYSTEM MODE > Select “ROON WITH INNUOS PLAYER (Experimental)” and click the SAVE button;
3. Launch the Roon App and select your Innuos system as your Core;
4. Go to SETTINGS > SETUP;
5. Activate the switch for “Enable Squeezebox Support”;
6. Go to SETTINGS > AUDIO;
7. Disable any players shown under “Connected to Core”;
8. Enable the Squeezelite player under Squeezebox.
